Land Registry Plans, Lease Plans & Transfer Plans

London CAD prepares professionally drafted plans for property transactions — lease plans, transfer of part plans and deed plans for use with leases, transfers and related HM Land Registry applications. We work with solicitors and conveyancers as well as landlords and property owners.

Much of this work can be done remotely. You can send us existing plans, title documents, measurements and instructions, and where that information is sufficient we can prepare the drawing without visiting the property. Some instructions need further information, verification or a site visit, and we'll tell you early if that is the case.

Our services

Plans for property transactions

Lease plans

Plans identifying the premises or areas included in a lease, lease extension or lease variation, prepared to the transaction requirements and the solicitor's instructions.

Transfer of part plans

Plans identifying the land or part of a registered property being transferred, with the relevant extent clearly marked.

Deed and other transaction plans

Plans to support deeds and other property transactions where a plan is required. Requirements vary with the transaction and the application involved, so we work from your instructions.

We prepare plans for use in transactions and applications; we do not issue official HM Land Registry title plans, and acceptance of any application rests with HM Land Registry.

How it works

How the service works

Remote preparation depends on the quality and sufficiency of the information provided. In some cases a site visit or additional evidence may be needed — for example, a measured survey of the property.

Draft review and amendments

We work with you and your solicitor or conveyancer to make sure the plan reflects the requirements of the transaction. We welcome feedback and will make reasonable amendments to the drawings to address comments, clarify details and help ensure the plan is suitable for its intended purpose. If the requirements change or substantial additional work is needed, we'll discuss this with you before proceeding.
